“Galactic Squad - The Space Adventure Team” is a fun and interesting independent science fiction film comedy to be released on DVD and online along with an array of merchandise, products and collectibles. Our goal has been to produce more than just a film, but to also recreate a fictional world from the 1950's along with all of the great graphics, stories, characters, and personalities.

More than just a Science Fiction spoof honoring the classic low budget sci-fi films and shows of the late forties and early 50s, Galactic Squad pays homage to the old science fiction classics like Flash Gordon, Commando Cody, Captain Z-Ro, Buck Rogers, Rocky Jones - Space Rangers as well as classic films like Rocket Ship XM, Forbidden Planet and most importantly Plan 9 From Outer Space. As the "story" goes, Galactic Squad inspired a generation of Sci-Fi fans who went on to become major producers and directors, including George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Gene Roddenberry, to name but a few.
The world of Galactic Squad features an entire host of exciting characters, back stories, and history, all packing its own conspiracy and intrigue. This vintage world of the future features it’s own terminology, predictions and classic branding evident during the Golden Age of Television along with hilarious and misdirected views of the future in1982

“The Galactic Squad”…those words evoked excitement and adventure in the hearts of a generation of kids in the early 1950′s. With its incredible special effects of space ships and other worlds, Galactic Squad was the greatest thing since Buck Rogers. One of the best things about the show, according to parents, was the “TEAM” that worked together to thwart evil doers throughout the galaxy and protect the earth.
Galactic Squad is an exciting space age adventure serial popular in the early 1950’s. It was a low budget and cutting edge science fiction action series that exploded in popularity during the Golden Age of Television. Galactic Squad inspired the careers of directors and producers like George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and  Gene Roddenberry. It was the spark and catalyst for many future television shows like Battlestar Galactica and Space 1999. The Real Story in 2012

Galactic Squad is a fun spoof designed and produced to look like those wonderful films of yester year... only a little worse and allot funnier. The production and story is divided up into short segments and delivered as “Episodes” just like the great old serials. Primarily designed for Film Festivals and promotion but when the response, requests, reviews, fan base, and love of the material became overwhelming Bee Flicks Entertainment decided to release the material on DVD.
The DVD release includes bloopers, behind the scenes footage, production photos, interviews, crazy footage of the cast and crew from 1950 and a few other little gems. Short clips of Galactic Squad will be released as mobile device content and a radio show for Internet pod casting and mobile devices are presently in production. The trailer is being entered into a slew of Film Festivals in order to gain support for the product. The trailer is being currently be stream from the website and a second production is already being discussed.
